Information our readers should know:
The Beckley Register-Herald Newspaper is no longer going to be
printing Incomplete and Short Obituaries for no charge. They have
told me that the new price will be $200.00 for the first 10 inches and
$12.00 for each additional column inch of an Obituary.
Because a large amount of people can not afford to pay this price
and that the newspaper is no longer going to print incomplete and
short obituaries for no charge, as they have done in the past. As our
way of protesting this new policy, Stafford Family Funeral Home,
Inc. has Canceled all regular advertising with the Beckley
Register-Herald and I urge others to call the newspaper to voice your
concerns.
