Jerry Harold Harvey, 75, of Oceana, WV, went home to be with his Savior on Tuesday December 30, 2014 at Camden Clark Hospital,
Parkersburg, WV. He was born on June 15, 1939 in Reedy Creek, WV, a son of Edith Collins Harvey of Reedy Creek, and the late
Foster Harold Harvey. Jerry was a lifelong resident of Wyoming County, a member of the UMWA last working at Island Creek Coal in
Coal Mountain. He was a 1958 graduate of Baileysville High School. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He is
preceded in death by his father and a grandson Mitchell Dale Simpson, II. In addition to his mother he is survived by his sons with his
ex-wife Wanda Toler Harvey, Jerry H. "Andy" Harvey, Jr. and Geraldine of Lynco and his children Travis Harvey and Mitch Harvey of
French Creek and Mitch's child Kindel, and Jessie J. Harvey and wife Janie of Bolt and their children Jesslyn "Isabelle" Harvey, David
Jones and Dakota Jones; a daughter Jennifer Harvey Brooks of Glen Fork; two step daughters Boo Simpson of Beckley and her children
Wendy and JR Graham of Sophia and her children Colby Dameron and his son Caytin and Santana Dameron and Cyndi Simpson of
Lynco and her son PJ and Rita Cook of Jasper, AL and her children Rebecca Cook Abshire, Billy Cook and Amber Cook; six step great
grandchildren Cloe, Connor, Jax, Jet and Axton Jones and Raylyn Cook; a special young lady who he raised as a granddaughter Kendra
Gibson; two sisters Donna Church of Brenton, and Barbara Toler of Glen Daniel; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving

Gertrude Carol Maynor, 67, of Cyclone, WV, departed this life on Wednesday December 31, 2014 in CAMC Memorial
Hospital, Charleston, WV. She was born on February 18, 1947 in Cyclone, WV, a daughter of the late Jim Bartrum and
Icy Moldie Doulph Elkins. Gertrude attended the Green Valley Worship Center. In addition to her parents she is
preceded in death by her loving husband William Russell Maynor; a son Patrick Lee Maynor; Burton Gibson who raised
her; a brother Floyd Aliff; and a sister Paulaine Chapman. Those left to cherish her memory are her four daughters
Caroline and Bobby Hilling of Cyclone, Floria White of Wharton, Linda Maynor and Teresa Maynor all of Cyclone; a son
William and Martha Maynor, Jr. of Oceana; a sister Terrie Ann Ratcliff of Dunlap TN; three brothers Alvin Walker of
Princeton, Lucky Bill Browning of Crouches Farm, and Jerry Van Elkins of Van; twelve grandchildren Corey L. Maynor,
Candy Maynor, Icy Rose, Carl Gene Smith, Jr., Johnny Smith, Eric Smith, Michael Hilling, Karen Matz, Mitsy Conejo,

Betty Gean Correll, 52, of Brenton, WV passed away on Wednesday December 31, 2014 at her home. She was born on
May 7, 1962 a daughter of Gertrue Justus of Double Camp and the late Buford Hurley. In addition to her father she is
preceded in death by her husband Max Dennis Correll;  and two brothers Dale Hurley and Hassell Hurley. Survivors
include two daughters Tonya Marie Correll of Indian Creek, and Wakendda Correll of Double Camp; six brothers Jimmy
Hurley, Timmy Hurley, Mack Hurley, Thomas Hurley, and  Harrison Hurley all of Double Camp, and Hafford Hurley of
Summers County; three grandchildren Ethan J. Correll, Robert Morgan, and Taylor Morgan; and a host of other loving

Ira "Butch" Bradford, Jr., 79, of Oceana, WV, passed away after a long illness on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Wyoming
Continuous Care, New Richmond, WV. He was born on December 23, 1935 in Rody, VA, a son of the late Ira and
Mollie Burns Bradford. Butch was a United States Army Veteran, graduate of Pineville High School and a member of the
UMWA Local 1706 Kopperston. He worked as a butcher for the Piggly Wiggly and Manning Supermarket, and a coal
miner for 23 years working at Consolidated Coal Co. in Itamnn, and Eastern Coal at Kopperston.  In addition to his
parents he is preceded in death by his first wife of 22 years Letah Acord Bradford; two infant brothers Roy and Richard
Bradford; three brothers Carlos Bradford, Paul Douglas Bradford, and Billy Bradford; three sisters Ozela Hurley, Virginia
Morgan and Margie Shirley. Survivors include his loving wife of 34 years Darice  Lester Bradford; a son Rodney G. and
Patricia Bradford and their children Rebecca and Charles Rowe and Susan and Zachary Morrison all of Cincinnati, OH;  
a daughter Jackie Bradford Castellano and fiance David Hiatt, and her children Branndon Castellano and Andrew
Castellano all of Nobelsville, IN; two sisters Linda Taylor of Leeds, AL, and Betty Wallace of Mullensville; two brothers
Frank Bradford of Mullensville, and Sidney and Patty Bradford of Pineville; one great grandchild Wesley J. Rowe; and a

Joann Bailey, 83, of  Glen Fork, WV was carried away on wings of Angels January 7, 2015 at Bowers Hospice House,
Beckley, WV following a long illness. She was born June 6, 1931 in Glen Fork, WV, a daughter of the late Joe and Ola
Day Acord. She was a a custodian at Glen Fork Elementary School for many years. Also preceding her in death was a
daughter Marsha Wofford, a stillborn infant Mary Ellen, two grandsons Joseph Wills and Shane Brooks. Survivors
include her two daughters Tammy Jo Wills and her life companion Darrell “Jake” Allen of Glen Fork,  and Andrea Cook
of Glen Fork; a son David Ray Brooks and wife Faye of Glen Fork; a sister Betty Guy of Cleveland, OH; grandchildren
Pam Belcher, Tonya Tilley, Adam Wofford, William Wofford and Angela Wofford; eleven great grandchildren; and a

Joshua Scott Sellards, 43, of Oceana, WV, left this world on Sunday January 11, 2015 at his home. He was born on June
29, 1971 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late David and Nancy White Sellards. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his fiance' Sheryl Bailey of Oceana; three sisters Bonnie and Raymond Elkins of NC, Carmella Burns of

Stephen "Steve" Lloyd Graham, 60, of Lynco, WV, passed away on Wednesday January 14, 2015 at Welch Community
Hospital, Welch, WV. He was born on February 20, 1954 in Oceana, WV, a son of the late Wayne and Tressie Fortner
Graham. Steve was a member of the New Life Church and the UMWA.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death
by a brother Franklin Graham; three sisters Jenny Holcomb, Pam Stacy and Maxine Varney. Survivors include his loving
wife of 36 years Peggy Neely Graham of Lynco; a daughter Stephanie Dixon of Lynco; a granddaughter Nikkii Dixon
Lively and husband Shane of Huntington; two great granddaughters Araya Sunshine Graham of Lynco and Paislee Fulgham

Ronnie Lee Tolliver, 48, of Rock View, WV, departed this life on Friday January 16, 2015 at his home.  He was born on July 30, 1966 in
Welch, WV, a son of the late James and Opha Bailey Tolliver. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two sisters Geraldine
Tolliver and Carolyn Drennen; a brother James Calloway "J.J." Tolliver, Jr.; and two grandsons Thomas Boe Branden Morgan, Jr. and
Xander Jace Brooks. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter Tshonia Lynn Tolliver and grandson Matthew Ryan Tolliver of

Shirley Mae Rippeth Lozier, 75, of Oceana, WV, passed away on Saturday January 17, 2015 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital,
Beckley, WV. She was born on February 14, 1939 in Bradshaw, WV, a daughter of the late Bill and Stella Payne Rippeth. Shirley was a
member of  the Oceana First Church of God and ladies aide and she was owner of the Goodnews Christian Book Store in Oceana. In
addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a son Michael David Lozier; two brothers Daniel Waldron, and Carl Waldron; two
sisters Elizabeth Rippeth and Irishann Rippeth; and three infant brothers and sisters. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband
of 59 1/2 years Johhny William Lozier of Oceana; a son John and Tammie Lozier of Bolt; two granddaughters Stephanie and Alan Williams

Wilma Jean Ramsey Sparks, 86, of Oceana, faithful wife, beloved mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord on Sunday January
18, 2015 in the Sundale Nursing Home, Morgantown, WV following a long illness. She was born on February 22, 1928 in Richwood,
WV,  a daughter of late Roy and Augusta Rhodes Ramsey. She was married to the late Rev. William Boyd Sparks for 46 years and served
with him for 40 years of church ministry at churches in Braxton, Gilmore, Pleasants, Calhoun, Clay, Logan, Wyoming, Raleigh, Greenbrier
and Fayette Counties in West Virginia and was a member of the Toneda Missionary Baptist Church in Oceana, WV. In addition to her
husband she is preceded in death by a brother, Leon Ramsey, and a granddaughter.  Survivors include three sons Rev. Fred Sparks and
wife Karren of Eleanor, WV, Tom Sparks and wife Marsha of Oceana, WV, Bruce Sparks and wife Pat of Morgantown, WV; six
grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday

Robert "Bobby" Lee Williams, 53, of Robinette, WV formerly of Oceana, departed this life on Monday January 19, 2015 at his mother's
home. He was born on May 29, 1961 in Man, WV, a son of Jean Williams of Robinette and the late Edison "Slim Fat" Williams. Bobby
worked as a caregiver in Wyoming County. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by five brothers Benny, Charles, Powell, Larry
and Timmie Williams; and a sister Kathy Williams Simpkins. Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of 23 years Joy Terry Williams;
four daughters Lorriane George and companion Kenny Acord, Heather and Bobby Chambers, Angel and Rindy Canterbury and Bella
Williams; three sons Zackary Myers, Little Bobby Chambers and Dustin Chambers; two brothers Johnny and Sissy Williams of Stone,

Kathleen  "Kathy" Perry Browning, 59, of Cyclone, WV, went home to be with her loved ones in heaven Sunday January 25, 2015 at
Logan Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness. She was born on January 16, 1956 in Logan, WV, a daughter of Doris Perry of
Cyclone and the late Billy Lee Perry.  Kathy was a former cheerleading sponsor and loved working with the young girls. She also
cherished her grandchildren Dawson, McKenzie, Auston, Corey, Kristen, Ashley and Jarod. She attended the Cyclone Baptist Church
when she was able. Kathy had a heart of gold and loved people. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends In addition to her
father she is preceded in death by a brother Harvey Lee Perry. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 42 years Larry

Margaret Jean Lusk Bailey, 58, of Cyclone, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday January 27, 2015 at Logan Regional Medical
Center, Logan, WV after a short illness. She was born on October 9, 1956 in Logan, WV, a daughter of the late Wayne and Allene Lusk.
Margaret was a member of the Cyclone Church of God and  a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her
family and friends. She was a kind hearted caring person who always thought about the needs of others, and she always said her
grandchildren had her whole heart. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers Emory Lusk and James Lusk; and a
sister Velma Workman. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 41 years Chucky Ray Bailey of Cyclone; two daughters

Kenneth Ray Lundy, 61, of  Daniels, WV, Heaven gained another Angel at 5:16 PM on Monday January 26, 2015
at Appalachian Regional Hospital, Beckley, WV. He was born January 7, 1954 in Iaeger, WV a son of the late
Clifford and Gail Rhodes Lundy. Ken was employed at Harper Mills, where his fellow employees were more like
family than mere co-workers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers Ray, David and
Richard Lundy and a sister Sue Poore. He was a devote Christian man who loved everyone and especially to make
them laugh. Those left to mourn his passing include his loving wife Mary Acord Lundy, they had enjoyed twenty
one years together; four daughters Melissa Lundy and fiance` Tyrone Matthews of High Point, NC, Heather
Lundy of Highpoint, NC, Veronica Bradley of Daniels, WV and Amanda and John Stinson of Fairdale, WV; two
sons Kenneth Ray Lundy, II and fiance` Michelle Brasher of Thomasville, NC and Robert Hood of Beckley, WV;
four grandsons Austin Bailey and Dylan Bailey of Fairdale, WV, Kyler Lundy and Camden Matthews of High

Orval Ray Wimmer, Jr., 47, of Oceana, WV, passed away on Sunday January 25, 2015 at Charleston Area Medical Center, Charleston,
WV. He was born on February 13, 1967, a son of Orval Ray Wimmer, Sr. of Oceana and Bertha Walker Bailey of Princeton. He is
preceded in death by his step mother Mary Ella Wimmer; and a brother Phillip Wimmer. In addition to his parents he is survived by three
sons Nathan Lucion of San Antonio, TX, Takota Lucion, and Anthony Lucion both of Oceana; his step father Hobert Bailey of Princeton;
two sisters Bertha Lea Wimmer , and Vanessa and Brandon Bible all of SD; a half sister Dovie Miller of Oceana; a half brother

the UMWA for 50 years, also served as president of Local 7692 for 10 years at Lynco Mines at Lynco, WV. President of Bird Hunting
Club for several years. Ray loved to hunt and fish with his family, especially his boys. Loved sharing his life with his family and
grandchildren. He will be sadly missed and was loved very much. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a grandson Brody

Nancy Carol Acord Paynter, 63, of Oceana, WV, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Kindred Hospital, Cleveland, OH. She
was born on December 30, 1951 in Oceana, a daughter of the late Robert Acord, Jr. and Myrtle Lilly Hager Acord. She was a quiet and
gentle person always word of encouragement and praise for her family and friends with Christian faith and strength added. Nancy loved
singing in church and to her babies; she also enjoyed crocheting and Tole painting country crafts before her illness got so severe. Most of all
she loved "The Lord Jesus Christ" and going to church with her loving husband Benjamin and her children and grandchildren. Those that
are left were blessed to have had her as part of their life will truly miss her, although she left us knowing she is without a doubt "Singing in
Heavens Choir" now. Nancy was a member of Joseph Baptist Church, Lynco, WV also a member of National Society daughters of the
American Revolution, John Cooke Chapter, Oceana, WV. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two daughters Tara

March 7, 2015 in Bower's Hospice House, Beckley, WV. He was born on March 9, 1931, in McComas, WV, a son of the late Henry and
Barbara Earl Repass.  Buddy was a coal miner for 43 1/2 years; a member of the UMWA and a member of the Campus Church of God.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years Joeann Repass; four brothers George, Bill, Cameron and

Norman Ray "Stormin' Norman" Cline, 47, of Lynco, WV, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday March 8,2015. He was born on
January 23, 1968, in Man, WV, a son of the late Acie Arden and Irene Francis Blankenship Cline. Norman was a former construction
worker and an expert welder, and he was also an amateur boxer until his health forced him to give it up. Norman was a 1986 graduate of
Oceana High School. He enjoyed watching football, boxing, going hunting and trout fishing. In addition to his parents he is preceded in
death by a sister; several brothers and a sister-in-law Diana. Those left to cherish his memories are his mother Wilma Cline who "Kept him
in line"; his older sister Dora and Denver Goodman who always assured him that "it will all be alright"; his baby sister Angela and Eddie
Workman who he protected and she did the same, "you and me against the world"; his sister Arlene and Bruce Lopez, Kadie and Dave

Raymond Robert Webb, 85, of Oceana, WV, entered the gates of Heaven on Wednesday, March 11, 2015. He fought hard to survive
after having 2 heart attacks in less than a week, but his body was not strong enough. He was born on February 20, 1930 in Berchton,
WV, a son of the late Earl and Trula Smith Webb. He was the last remaining member of the Webb children. Raymond was a coal miner
who began his career with a pick and shovel. He advanced through the different phases of mining, including becoming a Federal Mine
Inspector. He was part of the task force that made new laws governing coal mine damns after the Buffalo Creek disaster. He also served
his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Raymond's favorite saying lately was "I'm such a lucky man!" To sum this
up I should say, To love and be loved is one of life's greatest blessings. He had both. He truly loved his family and friends, and he was
truly loved. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years

Jesse James Trent, 79, of Mount Airy, NC, formerly of Pineville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 21, 2015 in
Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, Dobson, NC. He was born on November 22, 1935 in Simon, WV, a son of the late Willie C.
"Bill" and Pearlie Belcher  Trent. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter Regina Lynn Trent; two brothers Willard
and James Trent; and two sisters Lola Walker and Bonnie Adams. Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years Shirley Naomie Belcher
Trent of Mount Airy, NC;  three daughters Jessie Ann (Larry) Mitchell of Indian Creek, Robin  (Bobby) Bodenhamer and Michelle
(Terry) Overby all of Mount Airy, NC; a son Andy (Tammy) Trent of Pineville; two sisters Gloria Harsayni of Morgantown and Shelby

Eva Marie Sanders, 77, of Ghent, WV, formerly of Glen Fork, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 22, 2015 in Bower's
Hospice House, Beckley, WV. She was born on November 3, 1937, in Kistler, WV, a daughter of the late Keenan and Georgia Morgan
Abshire. Eva was a retired LPN at the Bristol Memorial Hospital, Volunteer at the Beckley VAMC and attended the Lighthouse Baptist
Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 36 years Glenn Sanders; two brothers Harley Abshire
and Donald Abshire; a sister Emma Cook; a daughter Pamela Galapon and granddaughter Kaula Acord. Survivors include a daughter Lori
(Clifford) Acord of Kopperston; a son Gregory Sanders of Kopperston; a sister Mavis Wade of Weston; a brother Sylvania "Vanny"
(Jean) Abshire of Covington; five grandchildren Joseph (Faith) Jude, Philip (Maggie) Galapon, Jessica (Bobby) Crouse, Patrick (Andrea)

sister-in-law Diana Parton and husband; a very special brother and sister-in-law Danny and Carolyn Osborne; a sister-in-law Bonnie Walls
and Brother-in-law Sebert Lusk; a brother Billy and three sisters Imogene, Ruby and Loclare. Survivors include her daughter Patsy
