Obituary

Anita "Nicky" Graham, 54, of Oceana, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on July 15, 2026, joining the loved ones she had missed so dearly. Nicky was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend. She was born on January 17, 1972 in Bluefield, WV a daughter of the late Robert Graham and Marie Gunter. If you knew Nicky, you knew her heart. She was loving, fiercely loyal, funny, spunky, and always willing to help anyone in need. She had a way of making people laugh, offering comfort when it was needed most, and leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a lifetime of treasured memories and countless lives made brighter by her love. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her stepfather, Joey Gunter; her sister, Rachel Toler; her beloved granddaughter, Nevaeh McMillion; her cherished nephew, Johnny Acord; her grandmother, Elizabeth Lawson; and her great-uncle, Harvey "Hoppy" Lawson Jr. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Ricky McMillion and wife, Amber McMillion; her daughter, Elizabeth Cook and devoted partner, Hayden Edwards. Though their time together was brief, Nicky thought the world of Hayden. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Autumn Hughes, Braydyn Hughes, and Colton Hughes. She is further survived by her siblings: Josh Graham, Joe Joe Graham, Jennifer Lusk Aguilar, Wendy Cook, Tonya Smith and husband, Roy Smith, and Robert "Robbie" Graham; her great-uncles, Johnny Lawson, William "Bill" Lawson, and Alfred Lawson; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish her memory. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing Nicky is reunited with the family she longed to see again and is finally at peace. Her love, laughter, strength, and unwavering spirit will never be forgotten. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 26th at the Cook Cemetery, Lynco, WV. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.
