Billy Roosevelt Johnson, born April 1, 1935, passed away on September 4, 2026 leaving behind a lifetime of memories, accomplishments, and a family who loved him dearly. Billy proudly served more than 20 years in the United States Navy, dedicating much of his life to serving his country. After his years in the Navy, he continued his career at Raytheon Electronics, where he brought his experience and dedication to his work. Billy was also a true world traveler. Throughout his life, he had the opportunity to see many places and experience different parts of the world. One of his remarkable experiences was crossing the equator multiple times, a testament to the adventurous life he lived. Billy will be lovingly remembered by his children, Michelle, Michael, Billy, and Sherry; his grandchildren, Stephen Ross, Jasmine Johnson, and Ross Johnson; and his great-grandchildren, Shaylin Ross and Marley Ross. His life was one of service, hard work, adventure, and family. The memories of the places he traveled, the work he accomplished, and most importantly, the love he shared with his family will live on for generations. Billy will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue through the family he loved and the lives he touched. Rest peacefully, Billy Spann. Fair winds and following seas.
