Brenda Faye McDaniel Godfrey, 56, of Stephenson, WV passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at her home. She was born on December 20, 1969 in Streator, IL a daughter of the late Rick and Iris Kathleen McKinney McDaniel. Brenda was a traffic manager for Southern Communications. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother Robert McDaniel; and aunt Gina Jimenez. Those left to cherish her memory include a son Jacob Godfrey; a daughter Kelly Tilley and husband TJ; a grandson Spencer Godfrey; an aunt Rosemary McKinney; and two uncles Garry McKinney and Javier Jimenez; and a host of other loving family and friends. In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.
