Clyde U. Keyser, 74, of Gilbert, WV peacefully passed on Wednesday, May 6 2026 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV. He was born on September 4,1951 to the late Robert and Sarah Wiley Keyser. Clyde loved to tell stories of his life, fishing with his friends and family but most of all he loved being The Best Pap to his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Carnitta Sue Simpson Keyser. Survivors include his children Beth “Trevor” Miller, Jason Keyser (Chris Gaskins), Kathleen (Jared) Maynor, grandchildren Weston Starling, Jacey Miller, Hayden Browning, Sarah Browning and Isabella Maynor, step grandsons Drake Maynor and Brody Taylor, siblings Mike Anna Keyser, Herald Gloria Keyser, Carolyn Montgomery, Debbie Joe Lambert, Jackie Napier Samatha Ball, a special nephew and his family who stuck by him Mike Carolyn and Heather Lambert, and a host of other loving family and friends. In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated and laid to rest next to his wife. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday May 23rd at the Clear Fork Advent Church, 5764 Clear Fork Road, Clear Fork, WV 24822.
