Janice Pearl “Jan” Miller, 69, of Cyclone, WV went home to be with the Lord on October 5, 2026 at CAMC Memorial, Charleston, WV. She was born on February 18, 1957 in Clear Fork, WV a daughter of the late John Russell and Rosie Zettie Gibson Maynor. Janice was a Mother, Momaw, and Granny, and a lifelong member of the Campus Church of God. She was very humble and loved everyone. You knew when she prayed, her prayers made it to Jesus. When she prayed, things changed. She loved flowers and always had a green thumb. She also loved to cook and everyone loved her pinto beans and corn bread. If you were sad around her it was your own fault, because she was funny. She loved her little dog, Poco. He brought her so much joy. As you can see, she loved a lot. So, just know if you had done her wrong, she still loved you. She would want all of us to be in Heaven with her one day. Janice was loyal, strong, and she sacrificed a lot for her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband Gary David “Stick” Miller, daughter Geneva Rose Miller, her siblings Deloris Miller, Brenda Cook, Dorothy Paynter, Loretta Osborne, Gladys Gibson, Roger Maynor, and Johnny Maynor. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Gracie Hare and husband Barry, son Gary “Bay” Miller and wife Katie, her siblings Mae Blankenship, Robert Maynor, Frank Maynor, Gary Dale Maynor and Gifford Maynor; grandchildren Shauntae Miller, Tiea Collins, Gary “Jr” Miller, Colton Harvey, Gavin Miller, Raegan Miller, and Kinley Harvey; great grandchildren Mason May, Hayzli Harvey, Emberly Collins, and Cammie Miller; someone special to her Zach May; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 10th at the Campus Church of God, Campus, WV with Pastor Chelsey Noel officiating. She will be laid to rest in Paynter Cemetery, Campus, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 1:00 pm until time of service on Saturday at the church. Pallbearers will be Gavin Miller, Gary “Jr” Miller, Colton Haqrvey, Barry Morgan, Kaleb Meade, and Ashton Browning. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.
