Katherine “Kathy” Ann Ellis, 71, of Lakeland, FL, WV passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Surveyor, WV. She was born on May 6, 1955 in Logan, WV, a daughter of the late James and Lucille Ellis Fisher. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband Cary Oyster; and her brother Bobby Ellis. Those left to cherish her memories include her children James Mon, David (Amanda) Mon, Mary (Brandon) Bledsoe, Amanda (Dominic) Skeens, and Nicolle Buttler; grandchildren Jordan (Cody) Damron, Julija Nichols, Dominic Mon, Autumn Shifflett, Ronnie Shifflett, Adelyn Skeens, Lauren Burttler, and Eathan Buttler; great grandchildren Fancy Browning, Andrew Browning, and Charlie Mon; and a host of other loving family and friends. In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.
