Katherine Maryann Christian, 72, of Welch Pineville Road, WV passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV. She was born on October 26, 1954 in Welch, WV a daughter of the late Herman and Gladys Blankenship McNeely. Katherine was of the Pentecostal Faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers Lawrence McNeely, Ralph McNeely and Randy McNeely; two sisters Magadlene McNeely, and Loretta Justice. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 55 years, Darrell Christian; a daughter Brenda Suttles of Welch Pineville Road; five sons Darrell Christian, Jr. and wife Audrey of NC, Dallas Christian and wife Tina of Princeton, Chester Christian and girlfriend Sharon Carter of Green Camp, James Christian and wife Tina of Davy, and Michael Christian and wife Renea of Davy; three sisters Drema Bell of Marytown, Marie Ferrell of NC, and Barbara Occoner of Hensley; two brothers Herman McNeely, Jr. and wife Brenda of Hensley, and Jeff McNeely and wife Melinda of Roderfield; eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, November 10th at Christ Cathedral, Iaeger, WV with Pastor Russell King, Brother Michael Seabolt, and Bro Jeff Powell officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Christian Mountain Cemetery, Roderfield, WV. Friends may gather with the family after 6:00 pm on Monday, November 9th at the church. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.
