Robert Martin Estepp, Jr., 73, of Glen Fork, WV passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on December 7, 1952 in Oceana, WV a son of the late Robert Martin Estepp, Sr. and Hazel Griffey Estepp. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Robert Martin Estepp, III, grandson Robert Martin Estepp IIII, and his sisters Madeline Bailey and Cheryl Pritt. He spent his life devoted to his family, friends, and the people fortunate enough to know him. He was of the Church of God faith and attended the Glen Fork Church of God. He was a loving husband of 54 years to Nancy Louise Estepp and a proud father to Robby, Amber, Thomas, and Emilee. He cherished every moment spent with family and was especially known for his sense of humor, love of the outdoors, fishing, his recliner, Xbox, wood working, and talking to his friends and family. Robert served in the United States Navy for 2 years and was a coal miner for 36 years where he pinned top mostly. He will be remembered for his love, guidance, and strength. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife Nancy Louise Estepp, son Thomas Conley Estepp and wife Amanda, daughters Amanda Goad Estepp and Emilee Brooke Estepp Wooten and husband Bryce Wooten, grandchildren Julian, Nathan, Elizabeth, Tyler, Olivia, Gunner, Joseph, Rayliegh, Jax, and Xavier, two great grandchildren, his dearly loved sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews, “adopted” children all over, and special family Ricky and Susan Broughton. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, July 14th in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Bro. Darrell Stapleton officiating. Friends may gather with the family from 11:00 am until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. The Wyoming County Honor Guard will conduct military rites. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff who showed him compassion during his final days. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.
