Robert Clark Vanover, 66, of Hanover, WV went home to be with the Lord on September 30, 2026 at Wyoming Healthcare Center, New Richmond, WV. He was born on September 6, 1960 in Welch, WV a son of Ruby Ward Vanover of Hanover and the late Thomas Clark Vanover. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother Michael Thomas Vanover; paternal grandparents Bill and Meldren Davis Vanover; his maternal Lincoln Ward, and Dorothy Keenan Ward Browning. In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include a sister Judy Cline and husband Rodney; a niece Ashley Mullins and husband Andrew; a nephew Mickey Vanover and wife Brandi; his great nephew Jensen Mullins; great nieces Amelia Mullins, and Zoey Vanover; his aunts Bonita Wolford and husband Cab, Misty Toler and Kevin, and Delena Vanover; an uncle David Ward and wife Barbara; his friend from the nursing home, Dennis Lambert; and a host of cousins, and other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 6th at the Old Pathway Church, Johnny Cake Mountain, WV with Pastor James Cline officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Vanover Cemetery, Hanover, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 1:00 pm until time of service on Tuesday at the church. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
