Rodney Lee Hatfield, 71, of Clear Fork, WV went home to be with the Lord on October 4, 2026 at his home. He was born on December 22, 1954 in Clear Fork, WV a son of the late Jimmy and Martha Hatfield Craft. Rodney was a member of the UMWA. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son-in-law Jeremy Gibson; two brothers Jimmy Craft, Jr. and Tennis Hatfield; an infant sister Betty; uncles Nub Blankenship; and grandparents George and Annie Ellen Hatfield. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife Lawonne Hatfield; three daughters Tonya Osborne and husband Randy, Kellie Gibson, Amy Lovins and husband Steven; bonus son Christopher Hall; a sister Lisa Conley and husband Bill; two brothers Tommy Osborne, and George Craft and wife Teresa; his grandchildren Kara Hall, Tyler Gibson and girlfriend Haley, Kaylie Mullins and husband Frank, Kimberly Gibson, Jacob Gibson, Emily Pauley, Myranda Osborne, and Matilda Paugh; great grandchildren Mason Gibson, Carson Gibson, Taylon Gibson, Dominick Mullins, Myles Gibson, and Athena Mullins; a niece Tabatha Kennda and husband Jay; a nephew Kevin Hatfield and wife Jessica; special friend that he loved like a son Chad Pauley; a sister-in-law who he loved like a sister Cathy Mauger; his church family; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 14th in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV. He will be laid to rest in the Hatfield Cemetery, Clear Fork, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 6-9:00 pm on Tuesday, October 13th at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
