Sandra Kay Wiles Ellyson, 72, of Turkey Creek, WV went home to be with the Lord on October 9, 2026 at her home. She was born on September 12, 1954 in Pineville, WV a daughter of the late Edward G. and Nellie Naomi Cook Wiles. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a step daughter Julie Chapman. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 33 years, Gary Ellyson; son Jamie Smith and wife Tanya; step son Scott Ellyson; a sister Fran Addair and husband Bob; two brothers Noel Wiles and wife Gilda, and Tom Wiles and wife Deb; her grandchildren Moriah Kay Laxton and husband Luke, Savannah Gibson and husband Austin, and Jacob Chapman; her great grandchildren Adaline Kay, and Easton Gibson; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 16th at the Turkey Creek Baptist Church, Turkey Creek, WV with Rev. Dwight Stafford and Pastor Glenn Hatfield officiating. She will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 12:00 pm until time of service on Friday at the church. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.
