Shelley Earl Lusk, 65, of Cyclone, WV went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. He was born July 23, 1960 in Man, WV a son of the late Shelley Lucian and Brookie Clarice Osborne Lusk. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He ran a continuous miner and enjoyed talking about his mining career. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his 4 sisters Thelma (John) Faulkner, Wanda (Jimmy) Watts, Patsy Lusk, and Brady (Gene) Osborne, a son Jeff Lusk, granddaughter Casie Sewell, Step granddaughter Kiera Wells, two great- grandchildren Aubree Highlander, Leeliah Highlander, and a brother-in-law Donnie Harvey. He was a member of the UMWA and attended Bright Prospect Missionary Baptist Church. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of almost 5 years Vivian Nadine Poole Lusk, his daughter Tonya (Donald) Morgan of Cyclone, a sister Orpha Harvey of Cyclone. Step daughters Rita Lester, and Shawna (TJ) Dean both of SC, a daughter-in-law Mary Ann Lusk, his grandchildren Shana Lusk, Kelley (Joe) Highlander, Crystal (Kyle) Spaulding, Kevin Sewell, Jr., Amberlyn Caldwell, Caiden “Bubby” Lusk, Hailee Lusk, Jazzmin Lusk, Kisha Morgan, great-grandchildren Kai Mathew Spaulding due to arrive in May 2026, step grandchildren Whitney Lester, Levi Anthony Thorton Fuller, and Raelynn Dean, a brother-in-law Mickey Lusk and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, April 19 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Bro. Robert Morgan officiating. Friends may gather with the family from 12:00pm until time of service on Sunday at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in the L & M Family Cemetery, Cyclone, WV. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.
