Our beloved Mom, Mamaw, Sister, and friend, Teresa Lynn Brown Walker, 69, of Oceana, WV passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026 at Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV surrounded by her loving family. She is the daughter of the late Shelby and Helen Brown. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Ida and Walter Elkins; paternal grandparents Delphie and Elvie Brown; her husband Ernest Walker, two children infant Anthony Walker, and Kristi Walker; a niece Becky Brown; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Survivors include a daughter Tracy Reed and husband Joe of Oceana; her two grandchildren that was the love of her life, Kaylee Reed and fiancé Chandler Hunt of Oceana, and Kolton Reed of the home; two brothers Steve Brown and wife Linda of Oceana, and Tony Brown and wife Greta of Bolt; a sister Susan Craft and husband John of Crouches Farm; her only living aunt Rosie Phares of Circleville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, August 17th in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Rev. Ricky Proffitt and Rev. Wayne Bailey officiating. Friends may gather with the family from 6-9:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home. In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated following the service. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Raleigh General Hospital 2nd floor step down unit for the loving care they provided, also Oceana Dialysis Center, Beckley Cancer Center, Olivia Testement, and Annie Nicholas.
