Vencil Ray Walls, 74, of Long Branch, WV went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at his home with his love ones surrounding him. He was born on April 10, 1952 in Leatherwood, WV a son of the late Dallas and Dottie Walls. Vencil loved the Lord and his family dearly. He was a member of the Upper Room Jesus Name Church, where he loved going to church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his two brothers, Davis and Rockey Walls, and sisters Redith Kennedy and Sandra Brown. Those left to love and cherish his memory include his daughters, Sally (Bobo) Blankenship of Long Branch, and Misty (Dougie) Lester of Hanover, sons Dalton Walls and Verdis (Christina) Walls all of Key Rock, and Robert (Donna) Walls of Rock House, three brothers Curtis (Clarice) Walls of Long Branch, Stephen (Lesa) Walls, and Jamie Walls all of Oceana, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends who will love and miss him dearly. Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, May 22nd at the Upper Room Jesus Name Church, Long Branch, WV with Rev. Brad Kennedy and Rev. Vernie Blankenship officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Kennedy Cemetery, Foundation Fork, WV. Friends may gather with the family after 6 pm on Wednesday, May 20th and Thursday May 21st at the church. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.
