Walter Hurley Sexton, 53, of Bud, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at his home. He was born on December 1, 1972 in Mullens, WV a son of Spicie Mae Matney Sexton of Bud and the late Hurley Leon Sexton. Walter attended the First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Mullens. He is preceded in death by his father, Hurley Leon Sexton. In addition to his mother, Spicie Mae Sexton, survivors include his best friends Makayla Bailey and David Lester, and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 1pm on Friday, May 15th at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church, Mullens, WV with Rev. Lewis Arnold and Rev. Steve Cambell officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Bud Alpoca Cemetery, Bud, WV. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family is being serviced by Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.
